What Makes Rice ELITE Tech Extraordinary
Faculty-Designed, Student-Taught Excellence
Each course is designed by a head instructor who is a Rice engineering faculty member, PhD student, or engineering professional. Day-to-day instruction comes from exceptional Rice engineering students who achieved outstanding academic credentials (averaging 3.96 GPA and SAT scores exceeding 1500) during their high school years. Head instructors periodically visit classes to ensure quality and provide direct access to curriculum designers.
Professional-Grade Technology Skills
Master cutting-edge technologies and tools including robotics, AI and machine learning, Python and C++ programming, IoT applications, bioengineering, and 3D modeling. These aren't basic coding exercises—you'll build real engineering projects for your portfolio.
