Annual Elevator Pitch Competition

with Rice Alliance, the OEDK and the Brown School of Engineering
 -- held in the Shell Auditorium at the Jones School at Rice

  • This competition includes engineering design project teams, as well as independent design project ideas from the Engineering School at Rice University and across the campus. Teams/Individuals will present 90-second pitches for their projects. The pitches will describe the designs, the problem or need being solved, the competitive advantages, and the commercial potential of the devices and other products. The top 6-8 teams will win cash prizes based on the judges’ scores. Over $5,000 in cash prizes are awarded.
